Amanda Sarrazin-Gould is currently studying to obtain her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law. She earned a Master of Public Health, specializing in Global Health, from the University of Alberta in 2015. She has previously earned a Post-Graduate Certificate in Global Health from the University of Manchester in April 2013, after graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts with majors in both political science and sociology in June 2012. Amanda has become involved in numerous organizations focussed on public health in vulnerable populations and continues work with several of these organizations at the management level. Amanda is thrilled to see her efforts come to life with The Red Elephant and hopes it inspires others to take meaningful action.

Liam Sarrazin-Gould is Speech Language Pathologist, having graduated from the University of Alberta with his MSc. He has a special interest in rehabilitation and empowerment, particularly focussing on health in low-resource settings. Liam is excited to apply the latter to an important issue in women’s health with The Red Elephant.

Greg Wagner works as a Business Analyst at IBM, but has always had an interest in volunteering in the community. When the opportunity to fill the position of Secretary with The Red Elephant opened, he was excited to apply his professional skills in an area that will positively impact women’s health.

Megan Candie is a communications professional, currently working as a communications coordinator for a rural municipality in the capital region of Alberta. She holds a journalism diploma, and is obtaining a public relations diploma and degree in communications. She is excited to lend her skills to The Red Elephant and looks forward to affecting lasting change by empowering women and educating communities.

Nikki is an administrative professional who recently graduated from the human services degree program at MacEwan University. She is passionate about non-profit work in her community and in impoverished communities. She is motivated to help raise awareness and empower women to use safe practices for women’s health so they can continue to contribute to their communities.
